Today, one laptop in 10 is stolen, yet theft deterrent technology is nearly non-existent, so I wanted to explore new solutions.

And I love the thought that a laptop is usually on the go, and doesn't have a printer. So you added weight with a useless feature.
How about hitting CTRL+ALT+DELETE simultaneously gives the user a lethal shock, and wipes the computer clean. Of course, running windows, who wants to commit suicide every day or two?
Security knob - that's for sure. Seriously? Is that like freedom fries, or do "agents" do something with knobs now to practice their craft?
Sure I can google it... but how about making it a little easier?
I'd swallow the cyanide pill just so I don't have to use that cumbersome thing.
